Holidaymakers in Europe can look forward to a summer of lower mobile phone roaming charges, after the EU-mandated cuts come into force. It's all part of the European Commission's plan to phase out all roaming charges by the end of the year. Telecoms analyst, Matthew Howett, tells us customers will be glad to see the back of the charges which have been a bit of a moneyspinner for the mobile operators in recent years. South Africa's metalworkers have begun an indefinite strike, just days after the country's platinum miners went back to work. The BBC's Lerato Mbele in Johannesburg gives us the latest and economist Dawie Roodt from the Efficient Group tells us how much damage the strike may do to the South African economy. The BBC's Mark Whittaker is on hand to explain a controversy in Japan, where the country's constitution has been altered to potentially enable it to take offensive military action.
