In 2016, rugby and golf, which were earlier played at the Olympics and then dropped, will be included again, as they are now very popular and are played all around the world.

The IOC has still not approved the sport due to the concern about the balance of sports—there are already many other sports in the Olympics that are connected with fighting, such as tae kwon do and boxing.
