Republican senator for Kentucky, Rand Paul, announces he intends to stand in next year's US presidential election, saying he wants to return the country to the principles of liberty and limited government. We go to Beirut to see why the Lebanese capital is experiencing an unexpected property boom, despite the conflict in neighbouring Syria. And we get a lesson in how to organise a successful, non-violent revolution, from Srdja Popovic, a Serbian activist who was involved in the protests that led to the toppling of Slobodan Milosevic and now author of Blueprint for Revolution.
