Confidence among our manufacturing companies has fallen to its lowest level for two years, so this morning we ask what's happened to the 'march of the makers'? There have been plenty of penalties for the big banks in recent years, and one research group has totted them all up, estimating the total for fines, compensation and litigation has reached £200bn. And, before Greece dominated the financial pages - it was Iceland.
