美国前驻乌克兰大使国会作证 This is AP News Minute. House Democrats have scheduled public hearings for next week in the impeachment inquiry of President Donald Trump. More transcripts are being released. Among those scheduled to testify are top Ukraine diplomat William Taylor and former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovich. One day after voters in Kentucky went to the polls, just over 5300 votes separates the two candidates, Democrat Andy Beshear and Republican incumbent Matt Bevin. Bevin is seeking a recanvass, while Beshear has claimed victory and begun to focus on the transition. Anti-government protesters clashed with Iraqi security forces in Bagdad Wednesday as unrest in the country continues. Protesters are focusing much of their anger on Shiite political parties and militias, many of which have close ties to Iran. Sheriff's deputies in northern California helped a dumpster-diving bear get out of a tough situation. The bear got itself stuck inside a trash bin before one of the deputies flipped open one of the doors, so the bear could climb out and get back to the wild. |
