Nearly 10 years after the human papillomavirus--or HPV--vaccine was introduced, uptake in the US remains low.

A new report from the Centers for Disease Control suggests the number of teenagers who got vaccinated against HPV increased only slightly last year,

Dr Anne Schuchat, director of the CDC’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, said during a media briefing,
