Facebook giving some thought to posthumous posts, providing more options for people who want to decide what happens to their accounts after they die.

Facebook的脑筋又动到了已故之人的账户上,对于那些想决定自己过世后账户如何的人群该公司会提供更多选择。

Facebook now saying it lets users in the U.S. choose someone to manage those accounts.

这家公司现在表示它可以让美国用户选择特定之人管理这些账户。

There are restrictions but the legacy contact would be able to do things like change profile pictures, even respond to new friend requests.

当中会存在限制但这些遗赠联系人能够进行诸如改变头像,甚至对新朋友的请求作出回应等事情。

Previously those accounts would have been memorialized or locked so no one else could log in.

之前这些逝者的账户会处于纪念或处于锁定状态所以没有人可以登录。

Facebook also says it ensures that the account of a deceased user doesn't show up as a suggested friend or in ways that would upset loved ones.
