It was discovered by the Kepler spacecraft and named Kepler-452b.

它是经开普勒太空望远镜确认，因此被命名为开普勒-452b行星。

It's of similar size to earth and is a similar distance from its star as Earth is to the sun.

它同我们的地球相似,而且其绕转的恒星也与太阳相似。

Though we won't be visiting any time soon…

“It's about 1,400 light years from us, so pack your bags…it's a long trip.

It orbits its star every 385 days.”

其公转周期为385天。

Meaning its year is 20 days longer than ours, says NASA's Jon Jenkins.

And while it's the most Earth-like planet ever found, we won't know for sure that it could support life as we know it.
