Dr.Walter Palmer was greeted by a handful of protesters but even more TV cameras as the suburban Minneapolis dentist headed back to work today after about six weeks off the job amid a global backlash over the killing of Cecil the lion.

Officials in Zimbabwe say the lion was lured out of a national refuge and they want Palmer extradited and charged.

Though the doctor says he acted legally, relying on professional guides when he shot the lion with a bow and arrow.

此前因杀害津巴布韦狮王塞西尔而臭名昭著的美国牙医沃尔特·帕尔马经过6周后已回归正常工作，然而上班第一天就被媒体记者围堵，而且不少抗议者赶来示威。

津巴布韦官员表示这只狮子是被诱导出国家保护机构,他们希望引渡帕尔马并提出起诉。

但这位牙医称他的所作所为合法,而且在他用弓箭射杀狮子时依靠的是专业导游。
