A man has been granted bail after he allegedly put hydrochloric acid inside a dispenser at a brothel in Sydney's north-west. Police said the 62-year-old man went into the premises in Rydalmere, filling a dispenser inside a room with the highly corrosive acid. He's been charged with a range of offences, including administering poison with the intent to cause injury, distress or pain.

And in the NRL Wests Tigers have ended the Warriors season with a 12-point win in Auckland. The Warriors led until the 72nd minute before the Tigers ran in two tries in the dying stages.
