Political leaders have joined film-makers and fans around the world in remembering the American actor Paul Newman who's died of cancer aged 83. The French President Nicolas Sarkozy described him as a Hollywood legend. The former American President Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary praised his generosity in raising hundreds of millions of dollars for charity. Paul Newman made more than 50 films including Cool Hand Luke and The Sting. From Los Angeles, Rajesh Mirchandani reports.

The Newman's Own food company he founded sold products like salad dressing in supermarkets across America.
