President Trump said he expects more countries will come forward and agree to peace in the Middle East following a a deal between the United Arab Emirates And Israel. The countries agreed to establish full diplomatic ties as part of a deal to halt Israel's annexation of land sought by the Palestinians for a future state.

Chanting support for Yemen's internationally recognized government, thousands of protesters marched in Taiz against ongoing fighting in the contested city. Taiz has seen some of the worst fighting and sieges of the war that has killed more than one hundred thousand people since 2015.
