New York's Pandemic-hit Chinatown Gets Reboot

Rosita Lee has been running the noodle village in New York Citys Chinatown for 13 years.

罗西塔·李经营这个位于纽约市唐人街的面条店已有13年之久。 

In March she closed her restaurant for three months due to the covid 19 pandemic.

Now even as her business reopens a permanent shutdown has been lingering on her mind.

I really thought about closing my restaurant in June

According to the Chinatown Business Improvement District

only 100 out of roughly 300 restaurants in New York Citys Chinatown are now open for business.

New York has lost a lot of tourists 67 millions annually to be exact.
