National cabinet is set to discuss when Queensland, the Northern Territory, Western Australia and South Australia will open up interstate travel. Many states have said they'll consider the issue when they move to stage three of easing restrictions next month — but the PM has made it clear he wants them to name a date.

Appearing on the Daily Show with Trevor Noah Mr Biden said he also believes the president may refuse to leave the white house if he loses the election.
