A former federal liberal staffer is claiming she was bullied in two ministerial officers, before falling victim to what she's termed "a fake redundancy process". Rachelle Miller, has lodged a formal complaint with the department of finance, alleging she was belittled and sidelined while working in the offices of ministers Alan Tudge and Michaelia Cash. A spokesperson for senator Cash has strenuously denied the allegations against the minister and her staff. Ms. Miller told Four Corners she had a consensual affair with Alan Tudge. Mr. Tudge says he's aware a complaint has been made.

More than 18-thousand residents in Sydney's north-west are being urged to get tested for COVID-19, after the discovery of virus fragments in local sewage. The virus was detected at two sewage pumping stations which service a number of suburbs in the Rouse Hill area. New South Wales Health is urging residents to be on the lookout for coronavirus symptoms.

The United States has recorded more than 136-thousand new coronavirus infections in a single day — with several states seeing a record number of cases. It comes as Britain recorded a bleak milestone in its battle with coronavirus, as the official death toll passed 50-thousand. The number of people killed by coronavirus is only higher in the United States, Brazil, India and Mexico.
