Get all your supplies-pencils, toolbox, all that stuff. And go to school!

Prepare to dumb down. You're gonna learn a lot more at home school than public school.

The best time and probably the way to do that would not to make the switch in the middle of a semester. Then you have a couple of months to get yourself squared away so that you can go to public school when it starts.

最佳时机，可能也是最佳方式是不要在学期中转学。这样你就有几个月的时间可以让自己做准备，在公立学校开学时再转学过去。

The only thing I can really say to you is be prepared to meet a lot of people, 'cause that's where it's at.

It just comes down to talking to everyone and being yourself.

I am in home school too. So don't freak yourself out. And when you go there, don't act shy. Get friends that like you for who you are.

Join clubs. Join sports teams. Get involved with the school. Put yourself out there, and you'll be able to make friends without a problem.

Be ready to make friends. Be ready to be involved in activities you've never been involved in before. Be really open-minded to all the opportunities you're gonna encounter.

Try to get used to talking to people more and having that social interaction so when you do go to public school, there's no awkwardness in just talking to people.

尽量习惯和更多的人交谈，在你进入公立学校以后，这种社会互动会使你和他人交谈时不会感到尴尬。

It's weird. I did the opposite. I guess the best way to prepare is be very friendly. You'll make friends. You just have to be open about it. Try not to stay towards yourself, 'cause not everyone's gonna come up to you. You kind of have to be really outgoing.
