Personally, I would like to say that when I had difficulty in improving my English listening, my English teacher gave me two suggestions. There are a couple of reasons to name. Firstly, dictation, In this way, I could increase my temporary memory and learn some new words. Secondly, reading following the tape, by doing this, I could imitate the standard pronunciation and become familiar with the communication situation. So, because of these suggestions, I improved my English listening quickly.
