3. Police investigating the death of a pregnant Marine in North Carolina say they may have recovered the murder weapon. They say a witness provided something that could have killed twenty-year-old Maria Lauterbach. Police have not located fellow Marine Cesar Laurean, the suspect in her death.

4. Britain's Prince William has completed his first solo flight as a member of the Royal Air Force. It was a surprise since the heir to the throne just began his four-month stint with the Air Force last week.
