You shouldn't have gone to Julie's party.

你本来不应该去参加朱莉的聚会的。

A: How was the test?

考试怎么样？

B: Oh, don't even ask me. I am really worried.

A: Hey, I told you that you shouldn't have gone to Julie's party last night.

嘿，你告诉过我你昨晚不应该去参加朱莉的聚会。

B: But it was her birthday! If I hadn't been there, she would have been really mad.

A: Oh, give me break. You should have studied for the exam. This was one of the most important exams in this semester.

B: Yeah. I should have told her that I had an exam.

A: That's what I said. If you had told her, she would have understood
