Lesson 9 Boy Things And Girl Things Nina: Hey Ira, what about this one? Isn't it so adorable? Ira: It's OK, yeah. But what if it's a boy? I'm not giving a baby boy something pink to wear. It's way too girly. Nina: What's wrong with wearing pink? It'll look good on any baby, you know. Besides, I don't think the baby will really care if we dress him in pink or green, or whatever color. Ira: Yeah, but we'll know, and it'll be confusing for everyone who sees the baby. Here, let's get this blue one instead. I don't want him growing up confused between boy things and girl things. Nina: And what exactly do you mean by that remark? Ira: Well, let's face it. Men and women are different. Men are usually better at sports and working with our hands. And I think you do a much better job of cleaning and organizing than I ever could. Nina: Yeah, and I'd do a much better job if you'd actually help out once in a while. Ira: Hey, somebody has to be the breadwinner, right? Nina: You don't get it, do you? I also need help around the house, especially with the new baby coming. Ira: All right, I'll ask my sister if she could come and help. |
