Fox News Alert. The suspected gunman who police say opened fire on an Independence Day parade in an affluent Chicago suburb is in custody after an intense hours-long manhunt.

One of them was Nicolas Toledo, a father of eight.

On a GoFundMe page his grandson described him as loving, adventurous and funny, his death leaving his family “numb.”

The North Shore Congregation Israel also identified another victim as their staff member Jackie Sundheim.

In a statement they said, “Jacki was a lifelong congregant of NSCI and a cherished member of NSCI’s staff team for decades.

Meanwhile police have identified Robert Crimo as a person of interest in connection with this deadly shooting.

Crimo who is in his early 20s was taken into custody near Lake Forest about 15 minutes north of here last night after an hours-long manhunt.

Authorities say north Chicago police spotted the car Crimo was believed to have been driving.
