Susie: I'm tired. I didn't sleep well.

Alex: Why didn't you sleep well?

Susie: My dog was barking all night. "Woof, woof, woof." All night!

苏西：我的狗整晚都在叫。“woof、woof。”整晚啊！

Alex: That's too bad. But you know, in Chinese, dogs don't say, "woof."

阿莱克斯：太糟了。但是你知道吗，在中文里狗狗是不会“woof”这么叫的。

Susie: Oh. What do they say?

苏西：哦。那它们怎么叫？

Alex: They say, "wang."

阿莱克斯：它们是“汪汪”的叫。

Susie: And in Chinese?

苏西：那在中文里呢？

Alex: In Chinese, birds jiji.

阿莱克斯：在中文里，鸟类发出“唧唧”的声音。

Susie: That's funny! But which sound words are better: the English or Chinese?

苏西：真好玩儿！但是英文和中文里哪个发音更好听呢？

Alex: They all just sound like animal noises!

阿莱克斯：听起来都是一样的动物的声音。
