At the age of 87, Nada Rudan discovered a new skill: painting. The centenarian who survived World War II and the siege of Sarajevo in the 90s, says she does not consider herself a "true artist."

Good morning. I'm A Martinez. At the age of 87, Nada Rudan discovered a new skill - painting. To celebrate her 100th birthday last summer, Rudan held an exhibition of her artwork, mostly paintings of nature. The Bosnian native, who survived both World War II and the siege of Sarajevo in the '90s, says she does not consider herself a true artist, but that painting relaxes her. She told Reuters, I am still in good health. My hands are stable. My eyes serve me well. It's MORNING EDITION.
