Good afternoon. I'm Naamua Delaney at the CNN Center in Atlanta. Here is a look at what's happening NOW IN THE NEWS. We're following the high drama on Capitol Hill, where a baseball superstar is trying to defend his reputation. Seven-time Cy Young Award winning, Roger Clemens again flatly denies he ever used steroids, human growth hormone or any other performance-enhancing substance. His former personal trainer Brian McNamee is just as forceful in renewing his allegation, repeating that he injected the drugs into Clemens at the pitcher's request. One of the FBI's most wanted terrorists is dead. Imad Mougniyeh was killed in an explosion in Syria this morning. Mougniyeh was a top Hezbollah commander. He was blamed for several high-profile terrorist acts that left hundreds of Americans and Israelis dead, including the 17-day hijacking of a TWA Flight in 1985. He was also suspected of masterminding the attacks on the US embassy and Marine barracks in Lebanon that killed more than 260 Americans in 1983. Defense Secretary Robert Gates is recovering at Walter Reed Army Medical Center after breaking his right shoulder. This is video of Gates earlier this week in Baghdad. Gates fell on an icy step at his Washington home last night. The Pentagon says it wasn't until this morning that he realized he needed medical attention. It doesn't look like he will need surgery. Barack Obama now leads Hillary Clinton in the delegate count for the Democratic presidential nomination. He won all three of Tuesday's primary contests. Republican John McCain also scored a clean sweep adding to his delegate count. On February 19th, voters in Hawaii, Washington state and Wisconsin will have their turn. Expect to see new episodes of your favorite shows in the coming weeks. The writers' strike is officially over. Writers are back to work today, clearing the way for more movie and TV production to ramp back up. They voted on a deal with studios Tuesday. Union leaders said they were pleased with the agreement. The strike's end also means writers will not picket or boycott the Academy Awards which is on February 24th. Well, those are the headlines this hour. Stay with CNN for more on these stories and the other news of the day.
