Hello! I'm Melissa Long at the CNN Center here in Atlanta. Some of the headlines that are happening NOW IN THE NEWS this Friday right now for you.

We are learning two firefighters have been killed, fighting a five alarm fire in North Carolina. Four other firefighters have been injured, and two are being treated for first and second-degree burns, suffered while battling the flames at the Salisbury millworks. Salisbury is about 20 miles north of Salem. Right now it is not known just what caused that fire. The wood working business makes cabinets, moldings and other wood products. We'll keep following the story, of course, for you and bring you updates as we get them.

Republican Ron Paul may be close to ending his long shot presidential campaign. Paul hinted about dropping out when he addressed supporters in an online video. He didn't specifically say he was quitting, but he said victory in the conventional political sense is not available in the presidential race. Paul has won 21 delegates during his campaign.

With the Democratic presidential race in a dead heat, the 12 delegates up for grabs in Wyoming tomorrow have become extremely important. Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama have stepped up their campaigning in the heavily Republican state this week.

February, not a good month for job seekers. The government says the economy cut 63,000 jobs, the biggest decline since March, 2003. Despite the job loss, the unemployment rate actually improved by one tenth of a percent. The slight uptick came as a result of a big jump in the number of people that the government counted as no longer in the labor force.

And do not forget it is time to spring forward over the weekend. That means you will lose an hour of sleep on Sunday morning when we move the clock ahead for daylight saving time. The change happens 2.a.m Sunday or before you go to bed if you like to just change them. Arizona and Hawaii are the only states that do not observe daylight saving time.

And you're up to date. Those are the headlines at this hour. Do stay with CNN for more on these stories or other news of the day.
