3. Aid officials in the Congo were concerned about a lack of food and shelter. Rebels are forcing tens of thousands of refugees out of makeshift camps. The rebels appear to be still maintaining a ceasefire declared last week.

4. Alabama is now college football's number-one-ranked team. Texas fell at Texas Tech for Michael Crabtree caught a touchdown pass in the last second of the game, thinned the Longhorns 39-33.
