1.Illinois Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. says he is not a target of the investigation that led to the arrest of Governor Rod Blagojevich. Authorities accused Blagojevich of skimming to sell President-elect Barack Obama's open Senate seat.

2.Brooklyn authorities are searching for three people they say launched a vicious attack on an Ecuadorian immigrant early Sunday, leaving him brain-dead. Police say the assailants shouted anti-gay and anti-Hispanic slurs at the 31-year-old victim beating him with a baseball bat.

3.A court in Greece is ordering two police officers be held in jail until they go on trial for the fatal shooting of a teenage boy. The death sparked five days of rioting in Athens and other Greek cities. One of the officers is charged with murder. The other is charged as an accomplice.

4.And two rare white lion cubs took some of their first steps at the Belgrade Zoo. White lions are unique to South Africa and are a genetic rarity. Conservationists say no white lion has been seen in the wild since 1994.
