1.The White House says the new audio type supposedly from Osama Bin Laden is a sign of his isolation. Bin Laden urges a Muslim holy war against Israel as an angry response to Israel's Gaza offensive. Officials say it's Bin Laden's attempt to remain relevant during an international push against terrorism. 2.U.S. Marshals say a pilot who apparently tried to fake his own death slashed one of his wrists shortly before he was found. The 38-year-old investment manager from Indiana is hospitalized. He's wanted on fraud charges and could be charged with making a false distress call. His wife also has filed for divorce. 3.A white police officer accused of killing an unarmed black man in California has been arrested on a murder warrant in Nevada. Witnesses say the officer, Johannes Mehserle, shot Oscar Grant while he was lying facedown on the train platform. The shooting sparks violence, street protests and hundreds of arrests. 4.Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson is scheduled to make her first public appearance since the killings of her mother, brother and nephew. An NFL spokesman says Hudson will sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl in Tampa on February 1st.
