By the middle of the concert I looked over at my dad.He was covering both his ears with his hands and I could tell that the music was grating on his nerves like knives scraping against a blackboard. On our way home,my dad told me that he first heard Ornette Coleman when he was my age.He said,"Not much has changed. His music was terrible then and it's terrible now". |
