Hello, I'm Naamua Delaney at the CNN Center in Atlanta, and here is a look at what's happening NOW IN THE NEWS.

US and Iraqi negotiators have reached a tentative deal for American troops to withdraw entirely from the country. The proposal calls for American forces to leave cities before June 30th next year. A complete withdrawal from Iraq would take place by the end of 2011. The deal must still be approved by both sides.

Two weeks after Russian tanks rolled into Georgia, we are seeing the first real signs of them rolling out. So far though, it is a long way from a full withdrawal. Russia's president has promised to pull troops back to buffer zones around Georgia's two breakaway provinces by the end of today.

Tropical Storm Fay continues its path across Florida, leaving several deaths and a flood of rain in its wake. Six people have now been confirmed dead as a result of the storm. Florida Governor Charlie Crist says the deaths range from driving accidents to drowning to carbon monoxide poisoning. The relentless rain maker has rained on Florida for five days now. Forecasters say Fay could move out into the Gulf of Mexico and then come ashore again in Florida's Panhandle. That would make a fourth landfall for Fay.

Three people are dead after a small experimental plane crashed into a house in North Las Vegas this morning. The pilot and two people in the house were killed. The house was engulfed in flames as fire crews arrived. It's unclear what caused the crash, but FAA officials say the pilot radioed he wasn't gaining altitude and was about to crash.

We are now to the campaign trail and the Democratic pick for vice president. Voters haven't been clued in on Barack Obama's pick for VP, but some of the VP runners-up got the call that they are not it. The Democratic presidential convention is just three days away.

Well, those are the headlines this hour. Do stay with CNN for more on these stories and the other news of the day.
