.New York Governor Eliot Spitzer is giving late-night comedians plenty of material, but in political circles no one is laughing. The State Assembly leader says if Spitzer doesn't resign over a call-girl scandal, he is ready to call for an impeachment. Spitzer is holed up in his New York apartment.

2.Barack Obama and John McCain are the big winners in yesterday's Mississippi presidential primary. Obama won almost all the black vote but just a quarter of the white vote. He and Hillary Clinton are now focusing on the big delegate count in Pennsylvania where the primary is still six weeks away.

3.Andre Carson is the new Congressman for Indiana. The grandson of the late Congresswoman Julia Carson won a special election to succeed her. Carson becomes only the second Muslim ever elected to Congress.

4.Dawn Wells is best known for playing Mary Ann on "Gilligan's Island". But the proverbial girl next door is now on probation in Idaho. She was allegedly caught with marijuana in her car when she was pulled over for erratic driving last October.
