The chairman of the Fed says the US economy should start growing again later this year. Ben Bernanke says businesses remain cautious about hiring so expect more job losses, but do not expect a boom. Economic activity is likely to remain sluggish. 3. A senior Obama administration envoy says Pakistan is not a failed state, but its government is facing enormous challenges and needs the help of the US to fight the Taliban. 4. It took a motorcade to get there, but President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden got their fast food fix just across the river from Washington in Virginia, stopping in for burgers at a joint called Ray's Hell Burger.
