Part 4 Travel
Unit One Greeting (Joseph met Taylor in the street)
A: Hi, Taylor. How are you doing?
B: Joseph, heir. How are you?
A: Not bad. Where are you going?
B: Over to gym. How about you?
A: Oh, I just got off work. Boy, I’m so hungry, I can eat a horse.
B: Where are you working now?
A: An automobile company. It’s a real pain, but I guess I shouldn’t complain. Lots of guys are out of work these days.
B: Yeah, that’s the true. Well, I’d better let you go to get some supper.
A: It’s great seeing you again. Maybe we can get together sometime.
B: Sounds good. I will give you a call.
A: OK, Taylor. Well, I will be seeing you.
B: OK. Enjoy your meal.
A: Thanks. Bye.
B: Bye.
Unit Two Departure (Austen is going back to American. His friend Ye Kang is seeing him in the airport.)
A: Thank you for seeing me off at the airport, Ye.
B: Don’t mention it. That’s the least I can do.
A: How time flies.
B: Yes, I really enjoy the time we spent together.
A: So do I. You really gave me a lot of help when I worked in your company. |
