1. Tourists in New York are getting a view they haven't seen in years. The Statue of Liberty's crown is once again open to visitors. It had been closed since the 911 attacks. Only 30 people are allowed up per hour. Some 14,000 tickets have already been sold.

2. North Korea launched seven ballistic missiles today into waters off its east coast in a show of military firepower. The salvo defies UN resolutions and also appears to be a slap at the United States as Washington moves to enforce UN sanctions.

3. Honduras is further distancing itself from its neighbors. The government there has pulled out of the Organization of American States, just as the group was considering kicking the country out after it overthrew the president in a military coup.

4. Serena Williams has bested her older sister to take the title at Wimbledon. She won in straight sets to capture her third championship there, all at the expense of older sis Venus.
