1.Family members say Laura Ling and Euna Lee were kept apart and fed rice with rocks in it during their 5-month detention in North Korea. Ling and Lee returned to the US Wednesday after being granted a pardon. The reporters have been sentenced to a dozen years' hard labor for entering that country illegally. 2.Pennsylvania authorities say the gunman in a deadly health club shooting was frustrated with women. George Sodini had written in his blog that he couldn't understand why women were not attracted to him. The 48-year-old man killed three women and injured nine others, taking an aerobics class before turning the gun on himself. 3.The Senate vote expected by mid-afternoon Thursday, Judge Sonia Sotomayor is on track to be the nation's first Hispanic Supreme Court justice. Most Republicans have said they'll vote against her but she still has more than enough support to be easily confirmed. 4.A 53-year-old Georgia man who claims he's secretly engaged to pop star Miley Cyrus is facing attempted stalking charges. Authorities say Mark McLeod came back to the beach where the 16-year-old is filming a movie. He had been warned in June to stay away.
