1.The Coast Guard tells federal officials it has spotted debris that could be from a Coast Guard plane that crashed into a Marine helicopter. Cash happened off the coast of San Diego. A search and rescue mission is under way for nine people believed to have been onboard the aircraft.

2.A vote is likely sometime next week on the House’s version of health care reform. House speaker Nancy Pelosi unveiled the legislation yesterday. And it does include the so-called “public option”. Democrats say it would cost 900 billion dollars over 10 years.

3.The Yankees have evened up the World Series with the Philadelphia Phillies. Mark Teixeira, Hideki Matsui, homered for ??, leading the Yankees to a 3-1 win. Game 3, Saturday night in Philadelphia.

4.Actor Dennis Hopper has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. He is cancelling all of his travel plans to focus on treatment. The 73 years old is being treated through a special program at the University of Southern California.
