影视听力 第9期:Forbidden Kingdom功夫之王(在线收听) |
演: Rob Minkoff 剧情简介
Forbidden Kingdom was directed by Rob Minkoff from a script by John Fusco and it’s the first ever film to unite two of the great stars of the martial arts action universe. I am talking about Jackie Chan and Jet Li. Both of them play two roles in this movie. Jackie Chan plays an elderly junk shop owner in present day Boston and also a drunken itinerant fighter in ancient magical China. Both of Jet Li’s roles are in ancient magical China. He plays the Monkey King and also the silent monk. The two of them do just what you expect them to do in a movie like this—they fight a lot. The thing that will attract both aficionados of the genre and maybe some newcomers to it is the action fight sequences. Even though these guys are both getting on in years, they still are pretty spry and lively and they are helped by one of the great choreographers of martial arts action Yuen Woo-ping. There is a framing story that partly takes place in the contemporary USA. Michael Angarano is a young man who’s crazy about Kungfu movies and he finds himself sucked into one by a series of rather complicated and contrived circumstances. And that just keeps you going along till you get the next fabulous mountain vista. This was filmed mostly on location in China. And the next over the top fight sequence. Whether you love these movies and will see any movie with Kungfu in it or you just sort of have a mild curiosity about them, this is not a bad place to start. |
