3.It will cost you more to fly this holiday season. Most of the largest U.S. airlines have increased a surcharge for travel on the busiest travel day to 20 dollars. That’s up from 10. A spokesman for American Airlines says the increase is due to supply and demand.

4.The Philadelphia Phillies have forced a Game 6 in the World Series, beating the New York Yankees last night 8-6. Chase Utley hit two home runs and Cliff Lee won for the second time in the series. Game 6 is Wednesday in New York. The Yankees lead the Series, three games to two.
