2. Homicide detectives are widening their investigation into the discovery of 11 bodies in Cleveland. The expanded search would include a neighbor's property as they look for more evidence. Anthony Sowell has already been charged with five counts of aggravated murder.

3. Police in Mexico rescued four suspected kidnappers from a town hall as they were surrounded by hundreds of angry residents. Earlier, townspeople tossed gasoline at the building in a bid to get at the men.

4. Ken Griffey Jr. agreed to another one-year contract with the Seattle Mariners Wednesday. Griffey who turns 40 later this month, received the deal similar to the incentive-laden contract he signed to return to Seattle last year.
