Authorities are searching for two men who prompted a lengthy standoff at a Venice, Florida T.J. Maxx. Police now believe gunmen had already left by the time emergency responders arrived. They had treated it as a hostage situation. Six people left in the store were cleared from the scene shortly after midnight. 4. AAA expects 38.4 million Americans will travel 50 miles or more this year's holiday weekend compared to 37.8 million last year. The number of automobile travelers is expected to rise. Air travel is projected to decline. |
