1.President Barack Obama spent several hours Tuesday with three of his top security advisors, talking about the botched Christmas Day attack on the  US airliner. Those advisors, including Homeland Security Secretary General Janet Napolitano, are reviewing airline passengers screening procedures and the US terror watch lists system.

2.A Tsunami has left about a third of the population on the Solomon Island homeless. But officials say it could have been worse. Authorities say lives were spared because people remember previous disasters and quickly moved to higher ground.

3.Los Angeles authorities  are trying to determine the cause of death for the  heiress to the Johnson and Johnson empire. Casey Johnson was found dead in her LA home Monday morning. The thirty-year-old socialite had diabetes but it is unclear if that played a role in her death.

4.These Giant panda cubs are getting ready for a six-month skit at this year's World Expo in China. All ten pandas were born at a reserve in 2008 after a deadly earthquake struck Sichuan Province.
