Earthquake survivors in Haiti are clamoring for food and water. The international aid organizations are struggling to distribute everything that has arrived. Meantime, search crews are racing to find any survivors that may still be alive under the rubble. Former presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush are teaming up to appeal for donations to help Haiti recover and rebuild. They met with President Barack Obama Saturday at the White House. They say all Americans stand united with Haiti. Protesters scuffled with police today in Hong Kong with the passage of the controversial high-speed rail project. Hundreds of demonstrators camped outside of the government meeting and then try to break through police lines after the measure passed. Hundreds of people braved 25 degree temperatures in Lithuania Saturday to throw snowballs at each other. The group was attempting to break the record for the world's largest snowball fight, although there's no word if they broke the mark. |
