[1] Eight American missionaries charged in Haiti with child-kidnapping are now back in the US. The group arrived in Miami early this morning. They left Haiti just hours after a judge decided to set them free. A Haitian judge kept two missionaries in Haiti, saying he had more questions to ask them.

[2] Police say a man using false accreditation was able to get within yards of Vice President Joe Biden during the Olympics opening ceremony. The man was stopped once he got within 12 rows of Biden and then was arrested. The Olympics security task force says the vice president was never in any danger.

[3] Former New York City police commissioner Bernard Kerik is likely heading back behind bars. The 54-year-old pleaded guilty in November to eight felonies, including lying to the White House when he was nominated to lead the Department of Homeland Security. Kerik will be sentenced today and faces between 27 and 33 months in prison.

[4] Tiger will tell his tale on Friday. The first time, the world's No.1 golfer will speak publicly since his middle-of-the-night car accident in November. However, Woods will not answer any questions. Instead, he will make a statement in front of friends, colleagues and a small group of media.
