1. President Barack Obama is holding a bipartisan summit on health care in Washington today. The president will meet with 22 high-ranking lawmakers. The schedule includes remarks from both sides with Obama serving as moderator.

 

2. The Northeast is dealing with yet another blast of winter weather. The latest storm could dump more than a foot of snow on some parts and carry wind gusts of up to 50 miles per hour. At least three deaths have been blamed on the storm.

 

3. Officials at SeaWorld in Florida are trying to figure out what to do with the killer whale that snatched a veteran trainer off a poolside platform and drowned her. Experts aren’t sure why the mammal attacked. This is the third time the whale has been involved in a human death.

 

4. Ice wars resume in Vancouver today. The US will take on Canada for the gold in women's hockey. Meanwhile Canada’s sentimental favorite Joannie Rochette will be trying to rise out a third place in women's figure skating.
