[1] The worst may be over in the Northeast as a strong winter storm is tapering off. Already, more than 21 inches of snow has fallen in New York. Crews at airports from Philadelphia North are now trying to clear the runways.

[2] The shows are going on at SeaWorld. Earlier this week, a trainer was killed by a killer whale during a performance in Orlando. But now, the president of the park says trainers won't be allowed into the water with the killer whales.

[3] The Taliban is claiming responsibility for a series of suicide attacks in the capital of Afghanistan. At least 16 people were killed. The strikes come as Afghan and international forces are battling Taliban militants in the southern part of the nation.

[4] Surfers in China are getting some unique company. A dog is now hanging ten with them. It's actually the pet of an instructor who says that if he can teach a dog to surf, then anyone can do it.
