 　　A US military refuelling plane has crashed in Kyrgyzstan after exploding in mid¹ air. The aircraft took off from the US military transit² center in Kyrgyzstan’s Manas airport, established for NATO operations in neighbouring Afghanistan.

　　Officials didn’t say where the plane was heading and the US transit center declined to comment. A civil aviation official said storm clouds could have caused the explosion. Kyrgyzstan’s Emergencies Minister said there were between two and five crew members on board.
