Now on tour, the show "Kungfu Revelations: Nine scrolls¹" is making a stop at Beijing’s Poly Theatre. The show is a vivid portrayal² of the philosophies of Chinese culture in the form of martial³ arts.

The Yin meets the Yang, as esoteric Chinese philosophy becomes embodied⁴ in the martial arts.

The marriage of Chinese philosophy and Kungfu creates a new language of movement, unlocking ancient wisdom for modern audiences.

Yu Yang, President of Poly Artist Management Co., Ltd, said, "Kungfu is transformed into poetry by the infusion⁵ of Chinese philosophy. We think the synergy of Kungfu and culture takes the show far beyond a mere⁷ Kungfu stunt⁸."

Now on tour, the show "Kungfu Revelations: Nine scrolls" is making a stop at Beijing’s Poly Theatre.

One of the highlights of the show is 11-year-old performer Sun Wenlei. His Kungfu skills and sense of drama shock the audience.

"I play a little boy who breaks the rules and plays around in the monastery⁹ like this...(shows off moves)" Performer Sun Wenlei said.

To the relief of parents, most children’s playtime routine isn’t like this.

The show is divided into 9 parts and includes themes audiences can relate to. It strikes to the very core of man’s spiritual struggle, which is that we are all on a journey for completeness, peace and purity.

There are moments of beauty and serenity¹¹...and yet the show has outbursts of power and agility¹².

It is this unique fusion⁶ that has won applause from packed houses around the world, and earned it the "skits¹³" trophy¹⁴ at the Israel International Arts festival in 2012.

This stage is the very place the show premiered in 2008, and now after half a decade of success, the show is making a strategic move for the future.
