CCTV9英语新闻：Xi Jinping meets with Aung San Suu Kyi in Beijing

The Secretary general of the Communist Party of China's Central Committee, Xi Jinping, met with Aung San Suu Kyi, Chairperson of Myanmar's National League for Democracy¹, on Thursday afternoon in Beijing. 

 

He held the meeting with Suu Kyi at the Great Hall of the People. Suu Kyi is in China for her first visit at the invitation of the CPC.  She arrived on Wednesday, and will stay until Sunday.
