1 drunk

2 indifferent   

adj.冷漠的，不关心的，不积极的；一般的

• Her English is indifferent.她的英文很一般。
• His manner was cold and indifferent.他的态度既冷淡又无动于衷。

3 index   

n.食指；索引；标志；指数；v.把...编索引

参考例句：

• Performonce is an index of ability.成绩是能力的标志。
• Manner of walking gives an index to one's charactor.走路的姿态可反应出人的性格。

4 offence   

n.犯法（行为），罪过，过错

参考例句：

• She felt she had committed an offence against the right of others.她觉得自己侵犯了他人的权利。
• I agree with the theorem that the best defence is offence.我同意最好的防御是进攻的理论。
