Finance Minister Mathias Cormann the parliament free committee that the ABC must have had a lot of fat in its budget to be able to set up its 24-hour news channel in 2010. And American poet, author and activist³ Maya Angelou has died. She was 86. Ms. Angelo made her name with her memoir⁴ I know why the caged bird sings which chartered a childhood of oppression and abuse in the Big South in the US in the 1930s.
